The debut release by Sivle Si Dog. Here is what I (Kevin) recall: we booked David Schmidt, the engineer for Southern Culture on the Skids, to record in SCOTS's studio. The agreement was to start around midnight. We got there a little early with all our equipment. Then proceeded to sit in the parking lot waiting and waiting. Schmidty finally showed up at 4 am. We were exhausted and incredibly pissed off. We set up our gear and just tore into our set, recording everything live (no overdubs of any kind) We didn't even stop to catch our breath until several songs in. Everything was recorded in one take, except for the last two songs, when our energy and anger started to ebb. We took the tape from Schmidty, sent it to a pressing plant without any mixing or mastering, and released it into the world. Yeah, the recording quality sounds like shit, but it is what it is.

Recorded in Carrboro, North Carolina on May 10, 1993 from 4:00 am to 6:00 am. Every song was recorded live on the first take except "Silver Screen" which took three, and "Unreasonable" which took four.
